Parshas Tetzave- Torah for your table! One Nation Under G-d

In this week’s parsha, Tetzave, Moshe’s name was not mentioned in the entire parsha. After Bnai Israel sinned with the Golden Calf, Moshe said to Hashem,

“If You do not forgive their sin, I beg You, blot me out from Your book which You have written!”

The power of a tzaddik’s words are so profound that they must always manifest in some way; thereby, his name was omitted from this week’s parsha. From this we can see how that even though Moshe was such a tzaddik and Navi, he still humbled himself and felt incredible unity with the entire nation, their pain was his pain, their transgression was his transgression. Moreover, the ramifications of our behavior represents the entire Jewish people; thereby, we must always act appropriately and in the accordance of Hashem because we are all representatives of Him, all one united nation.
