When a child is born, Hashem adjusts every child to his new environment. Areas of the body that were closed off beforehand miraculously open and passages that were closed miraculously open (i.e the lungs, initially they are closed off in the womb, upon birth, they open to breath air). Immediately after the baby is born, the mother continuously nourishes him, now externally, miraculously from her breast, which is close to her head, allowing the mother and child the ability to create in intimate relationship with each other.
